Recently, Luke, and Grace, and I went on a three day hiking trip with our church youth group. It rained off and on for all three days but was still very fun.
The first day we drove to the hiking place, put our packs on and got on the trail. That was the hardest day. We hiked six miles that day. That night we got to the camp site and set up our tents. I shared a tent with two girls. After dinner the two girls and I were feeling tired so we said goodnight and got in our tent. However, once we were in a sleeping bag we got bored so we started chatting about stuff. We started talking about horror movies and one of the girls told us in detail about a very scary movie, I started feeling creeped out so I said why don't we talk about something happy. The girl who was telling about the movies immediately said, "Butterflies!" Weirdly enough we did start talking about butterflies.
The second day we hiked around three miles. It was a lot easer for me because the first day I carried a tent attached to my pack, but the second day someone else carried the tent. Plus we got to the camp site quicker that day- where we sang around the fire, and played cards in our tent.
The last day we put our packs in the car and hiked to see a few waterfalls, then we got in the cars and went home.
It was very fun but as soon as we got home I jumped in the shower.

I just found your blog and I think it's a great way to hone your writing skills and keep memories of your teen years. I have some old diaries from when I was your age and it's always interesting (and funny sometimes) to look back. good luck with your blog... A.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I really enjoy blogging. I can never keep track of my diaries so I decided to start this.
